About YardBids

POST A JOB ONCE AND GET FREE ESTIMATES FROM MULTIPLE CONTRACTORS!

What we ARE
YardBids IS a FREE service that allows consumers to quickly post jobs ANONYMOUSLY.
Registered contractors (also FREE) are emailed the job and can bid appropriately.

The job poster stays ANONYMOUS throughout the bidding process. Once the job poster selects a winning bid, (no obligation) contact information is shared. YardBids gets paid a small success fee from the winning bid contractor IF and when a bid has been accepted. It's one stop! Post a job once and get free estimates from multiple contractors!

What we are NOT
YardBids is NOT a "give us your name so we can sell it to contractors" site!

Note to Contractors
We do not solicite you for "preferred accounts". You simply bid on jobs and the best bid usually wins!  We collect a small success fee if you win the job.   If you are interested in GROWING your business, please register.

Legalities
YardBids is simply a medium for consumers to get bids from contractors.  We are not liable for anything. We collect a small success fee from the winning bid contractor, however we are not responsible for work performed by them.

Archive Information and Data Recovery

In order to keep the site fast and our expenses down we frequently archive data from the Internet to our Intranet.  We may be able to provide you with old data.   However, there is a small processing charge ($25 per job) to recall, print, and mail a job and its' related bids.

We make serious efforts to keep archived data and make that data available but we are not obligated, responsible or liable for lost data.  If you would like copies of an archived job and related bids please contact us at .  Please include as much information as possible about the job such as Your Name, Job Number, Job Type, Date Submitted, etc.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q.  What is YardBids?
A.  YardBids is a free service to help you ANONYMOUSLY get the best deal on yard work!

Q.  How does YardBids work?
A.  Submit your jobs or have them submitted by an independent submission agent. Local contractors start the bidding.  When the bidding is closed, you simply select the winning bid.

Q.  How do you provide the service for free?
A.  It is free to you, the consumer, because contractors pay us a small success fee when they acquire a job through YardBids.

Q.  What do you mean helping consumers "ANONYMOUSLY"?
A.  When you submit a job to YardBids the bidding companies DO NOT know your address.   (They have a general idea of where the job is located.)  When you accept a winning bid, we let the winning bid company know your exact location so they can perform the work.  You do not have to deal with continued solicitations from the losing bidders and the awkwardness of telling a contractor they did not receive the job.   Plus, you know that you got a great price on your yard work because you can choose from multiple bids.

Q.  Am I obligated to accept a bid or hire a contractor through YardBids?
A.  No.  Not at all.  There is NO obligation to accept a bid or hire an independent contractor.
